Anne Frank was a German diarist most commonly known for her diary. And about her life in the secret annex. She got her diary on her 13th birthday which has helped her to write many tales about her life during the war.
Anne Frank was born on the 19th June 1929. After getting her diary for her birthday, a few weeks later they had to go into hiding. Anne was able to take her diary with her. She wrote all kinds of things in it. Most notably her life in the secret annex. They had a very strict schedule to follow, at 6:45 the alarm would go off and they would use the bathroom one by one. And Anne would remove the black out screens from the windows. At 8:30 it would be a risky half an hour. The men that worked in the warehouse would begin work. Any noise from the annex was dangerous. Even the toilet was a no go zone and they would have to wear socks to try and the make the annex silent.
For Anne the most boring day of the week was Sunday. Everybody would be working to clean up by scrubbing, sweeping, and making the beds. At around 2 o clock. The radio would turn on, and every body can have a nap or study. Anne did not really understand why all the adults needed so much sleep.
The way they hid from the Nazis was behind a bookcase. There were three encounters with someone and the bookcase. The first was when there was a carpenter doing repairs Anne found this situation scary by saying something like " I am scared that this complete stranger would find our hiding place" Another time was when there were police coming to look and the steps retreated from the hiding place. But the third time it failed to hide them, and they were found an arrested.
