Malala is a female Pakistani activist. She was born on 12th of July 1997. Malala became the advocate for girls education when she was still a child which resulted in the Taliban issuing a death threat against her.

On the 9th October 2012 a gunman shot Malala three times in the head point blank when she was travelling home from school. Thankfully she survived and at the age of 17 she went on to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. Soon after Malala wrote a book called "I am Malala". It became an international best seller. Obviously getting shot didn't stop Malala.

On Malala's sixteenth birthday Malala gave a speech to the United Nations. In the speech she spoke about wanting all girls to get an education. She didn't want revenge or violence on the Taliban (even the man who shot her), she just wanted peace and opportunity for all. I think Malala is an inspiration to all young girls.
