Welcome! I am delighted you are exploring my staff website with Marlington Local Schools. I hope this information provides you with a greater insight to the Natural Resources Energy program, along with "getting to know the teacher."

I recently completed my master's degree in education, where I specialized in career and technical teacher education. Working with students in career tech programs has become a passion of mine because it promotes students to work hands-on at something they are interested in that better prepares them for the workforce.

Coming from the workforce myself prior to teaching, I understand the importance safety practices, employability skills, work ethic, and self promotion for success. I spent 9 rewarding years with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) doing everything from biological wetland surveys, fish and wildlife management population practices, marketing, and my favorite part; educating others about Ohio's wonderful natural resources.

I grew up in nearby Stark, Columbiana, and Carroll counties, so the opportunity to serve Marlington students is an absolute joy! I am an avid outdoors-woman and enjoy hunting, fishing, trapping, hiking, gardening, cooking, and always learning something new.
