Lesson 08: Driver Control Programming

Description:

In this lesson you will test the functionality of your Team's robot build. Make sure to take pictures and make notes of what worked and what your team will need to improve. Use the code provided in the Marist Base Robot Code (Teleop_Tank, Teleop_Straffer, or Teleop_Quad) and make adjustments as needed.

Requirements: Test your robot on the FTC field in the following actions:

  1. Traveling around all sections of the field (over or around barrier)

  2. Picking up freight (cubes, spheres, and ducks)

  3. Scoring freight on the levels of the shipping elements

  4. Spinning the Carousel

Deliverables:

  1. Take pictures of the robot doing each of the four above tasks.

  2. Add these pictures to your weekly Google Slide Deck

  3. Write a summary of your robot's performance on the Slide Deck and outline what needs to improve.
