Do you know what peer pressure is? Have you ever experienced peer pressure? Take a look at this read-aloud with Mrs. Swigart to learn more about peer pressure and how we can respond to all types of peer pressure!

Sometimes it can be hard to wait patiently to tell another person something. What you have to say is important, but sometimes we need to wait until it's our turn to speak. Practice these steps and you'll become an expert on waiting for your turn to share a story!

Here's some tips to help us out when we are not getting along with another person. Don't forget to take responsibility for your part in the conflict. Using your words respectfully is always a great first step to solving any problem! Don't be afraid to take a break first in order to relax your body and mind so you can think clearly!

Using "I Statements" make it easy to share how you are feeling with others. Practice using "I statements" each day so they become a good habit to help you express your feelings appropriately!



Remember... it's ok to be different and unique! Embrace yourself and all your beautiful qualities!

It's ok to feel your feelings (whatever they may be!) and take some time to yourself. Other times, we need to share how we are feeling with someone and find a safe space to feel those feelings! Listen to the read alouds above and take some time for yourself!
