Central idea: The natural world can be impacted by the human use of scientific and technological developments.

As a part of their learning about deforestation, the children have worked hard to produce some amazing leaflets about palm oil. They have learnt that palm oil is a key ingredient in many products, however, if harvested without controls, can have a massive impact on the rainforest. They have learnt about sustainable palm oil, and how we can be more mindful of the products that we buy.

Please ensure your child has their PE kit in school every week as we have had a lot of children forgetting to bring them in recently, and this really impacts our PE lessons, which are a very important part of the curriculum.
