We are all definitely very excited about finally making our model volcanoes after our research, planning and designing! Last week we had an amazing day in London at the National History Museum, where we loved finding out about volcanoes and earthquakes. One of the highlights for children was the recreation of the Kobe earthquake within a supermarket. Children had a great time exploring all the interactive exhibits and also thrived on being able to see so many different species of mammals in the various exhibitions.
In gymnastics, children have really been developing their core strength in learning to control and show tension in their muscles to hold their poses. It has been a super unit of work allowing children the chance to improve week by week. Do ask them to show you their pike, straddle, japana, dish, arch and front support!
