WHAMMY

My first WHAMMY included the following:

• WAMMY board and parts from diyAudio ($209.05)

• Chassis from eBay ($73.70)

• Can of Metalic Black spray paint ($7)

• Misc screws and stuff ($5)

• Replacement Dremel cutting bit ($7)

• Neutrik NMJ6HF-S 1/4 Inch Stereo Jack Switched ($1.02)

• Neutrik NC4FD-L-B-1 D-Series 4-Pin XLR Female  ($6.05)

• Total: $308.82

I got this LED to indicate power. I got the 110v blue version. A whole $1.86!

I connected it to positive (left) of R10 and negative (right) side of R14.

When I drilled the holes, I wasn't able to use a drill press, and I rushed it a little with the hand drill, so the LED and the 1/4" jack are perfectly lined up. Leason learned; go slower. In any event, it cam our OK, and no there is a power indicator.

Also, I grounded the pot, which helped to reduce noise when touching the volume knob.
