Mr. Taylor's Intro to the Shop

While attending Mr. Taylor's Advanced Wood class, (MHS senior) used the CNC machine to fabricate his hexagonal aluminum ISO grid panel, which he designed using CAD. This type of  fabricated panel is intended to maintain the inherent strength of  the original 1/4" aluminum panel while reducing its weight.  This kind of panel is used on a larger scale in rockets fuel tanks where strength and weight or prime issues.

Multi Part Projects
