Calling ALL Students!
Are you a maker at heart? The MET Pathway at MHS is your gateway to an exciting world of hands-on learning, problem-solving, and creating. This pathway is tailored for students who have a passion for bringing ideas to life through a project-based approach.
What You'll Learn:
Master the fundamentals of the manufacturing and engineering technology design process.
Apply technical skills to a wide range of hands-on projects.
Design a diverse array of products, from chairs to dream houses.
Fabricate multi-part products like toys, tables, bowls, and wood turnings.
Build and program robots that bring innovation to life.
Who Can Join:
All students are welcome, regardless of academic standing or grade level. You can dive into the MET Pathway as early as 9th grade! For those in 10th, 11th, and 12th grades, participation is open as long as the required coursework is fulfilled.
Hands-on Experience:
Through state-of-the-art tools and equipment including 3D printers, 3D scanners, laser cutters, and a 4-axis CNC machine, students will expand their skills in:
