This dish was introduced to me by my mom's good friend Meg McGowan. She makes it for a bunch of our family-friend gatherings. Since macaroni is impossible to make by hand, I reccommend making strichetti or farfalle instead. I can promise you will like it because I can say with all honesty that it is the best mac and cheese I have ever tasted!
Ingredients:
3 lbs chicken breast
1 12 oz bottle hot buffalo sauce
1 can of cream of chicken condensed soup
1 8oz container of sour cream
1 cup ranch dressing
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
16 oz pasta ( or 1 batch of the 'Classic Dough')
Process:
Put chicken, hot sauce, and soup in a crockpot. Cook on low for 7-8 hours. When there is 1/2 hour of cooking time left, shred and stir the chicken.
Add the sour cream, ranch dressing, and cheese
Add cooked pasta and stir. Can cook on low a little longer if needed to melt cheese.
