Registration, Residency Verification, and Open Enrollment:
These are required annually in accordance with best practice and as recommended by state statute and the WI Department of Public Instruction. Please know that residency verification is for all* families. Education is expensive, and we want to ensure that Maple Dale-Indian Hill School District tax dollars are supporting the education of our enrolled students. Verification enables the district to confirm that the students enrolled in our schools are either residents or legally enrolled through other educational avenues. The presumption is that a child’s residence is the same as that of the parent(s)/guardian(s).
This year, the district is offering a document-free primary address verification process. This simple process should take you less than one minute to complete and may save you the trouble of scanning and uploading documents to verify your address. Should you be required to provide documentation, please refer to the lists below for allowable forms of verification. If school officials have any questions about the documents submitted, you may be asked for additional information.

As part of your online registration, we ask that families affirm that they have read and discussed the MDIH Student Handbook with their child(ren). The handbook is available on the district website under Family Resources. The handbook was developed to answer many of the commonly asked questions students and families may have during the school year and to provide specific information about certain school board policies and procedures.
Please note that the majority of information in the handbook is standardized and applies to all 4K-8. If you have any questions that are not addressed in the student handbook, you are encouraged to talk to your child’s teacher(s) the building principal. Copies of current board policies and administrative guidelines are available on the district's website.
The PTO has once-again partnered with School Tool Box (STB) to order school supplies for the 2025-2026 school year. STB offers you one-stop shopping for your child's school supplies. There are also a few specific optional ala carte items available for purchase.
The online store will be open through the summer. Simply visit schooltoolbox.com and enter the school's name. From there, you will be able to register and order supplies; click here for additional directions. Place your order and your child's supplies will ship directly to your home. It is quick, easy, and super convenient!
If you have any issues with ordering, call STB at 800/952-1119.
STB questions should be directed to Alisa Bendickson.
If you have questions regarding the supply lists, contact your school's office 414/351-7390.
Class lists will be sent late in the afternoon on Monday, August 25. Please watch your email for this information!
