Maple Dale-Indian Hill School District: Unlocking Potential...Together
School Counselor: Jeff Bohacek
School Psychologist: Deb Cook Westfahl
A school volunteer is any person who offers to perform a service or carry out an activity during the school day or during extended-day, school-related programs. This includes those who volunteer to chaperone on student field trips or other travel trips.
School board policy recognizes and values the contributions that volunteers make in our buildings. Board and administrative team members are appreciative of the positive impact that parental, community, and civic engagement has within our schools. The board also recognizes its obligation to balance volunteer access with the need to maintain adequate levels of safety and security for our students.
As such, volunteers are asked to annually submit to a background screening at the beginning of each school year. New this year, parent/guardians had the opportunity to authorize a 2025-2026 background check as part of online registration. If you know of someone who would like to volunteer in our schools, please contact the building principal.
The PTO is made up of parents and staff who work together to support and enrich the school experience for students and the larger school community. PTO meetings are held monthly in the Maple Dale Board Room. More information about PTO and its activities can be found on the PTO website.
Our district also partners with the Nicolet Recreation Department for various activities.
