Systemic Pupil Profile
The Systemic Pupil Profile uses best practice from social work and family therapy to create a thorough understanding of the child, their family and wider system. The focus is to create a detailed map of the relationships in a child’s life to see where their challenges are coming from and where possible solutions can be found.
Too often in schools, due to time and resource pressure, we are quick to jump to the solution before properly understanding the problem. The Systemic Pupil Profile process spends time being curious, finding the roots of behaviours and focuses on the relationships that can help change those behaviours and help that child thrive in education.
Many Hands is currently piloting the Systemic Pupil Profile with a secondary school in Kent as well as an education charity that supports children outside of education.
