Think College has organized its first workshop in Maharaja Agrasen College, University of Delhi on 12th April, 2023 to sensitize NSS students on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (PIDD).

"Join Us in Celebrating World Down Syndrome Day: Making a Difference Together"
March 21st is an internationally recognized day of awareness for those with Down syndrome, officially designated by the United Nations in 2012. The specific date was chosen to honour the distinct triplication of the 21st chromosome that leads to this condition.
"Today and every day, let's uplift and empower individuals with Down syndrome!
March 21st is World Down Syndrome Day, recognized by the UN since 2012. This year's theme is "Improve Our Support Systems."
Let's challenge stereotypes and promote inclusion!
Support systems should be tailored to individual needs, providing choice, control, and dignity.
Manovikas Charitable Society runs the "Think College" project which aims at offering higher education opportunities to students with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). On the occasion of World Down Syndrome Day, Manovikas family have planned fun activities for persons with disabilities on Friday, 21 March, 2025.
The program will start from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.(maximum 10 participants and 2 teachers).
We're thrilled to host a fun-filled fest with exciting games for children!
All participants will be recognised with a certificate. Activities are divided according to age group. Any Person with Down Syndrome and other disabilities can participate in a maximum of 2 activities and maximum 10 students from one institute can participate in it.
The fun activities are mentioned as below:
1. Bubble Blowing Fun (6 - 11 years ).
2.Colour Match (6 - 11 years ).
3. Picture Puzzle (11 - 17 years ).
4. Best Out of Waste Competition (showcase your creativity!) (11 - 17 years ).
5. Knot Opening Challenge (17 years above).
6. Emotions Discovery faces (17 years above).
