Star Parties

STEM helps sprout ideas, as many as stars in the sky and beyonD

Star Parties are a type of event MECHS STEM hosts. Members stay afterschool in the courtyard until sundown and, with the help of the coaches, they set up telescopes aimed to see spacial bodies such as the moon! Students who aren't a part of MECHS STEM club as well as parents are welcome to attend the star parties! Some MECHS STEMers help sell concessions during the star party to help raise funds for the club! Students have fun looking through the telescopes and simply hanging out!
