I am so excited to be your 1st grade teacher this year! I am really looking forward to getting to know each of you this year.

I have been teaching for 28 years, 20 at BTE. I grew up in Illinois, not far from Chicago. I went to College at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. I moved to San Antonio, Texas for my first teaching job, where I met my husband. He was in the Army and so we moved around Texas a bit. We moved to Round Rock 18 years ago and have 2 children. Our daughter is 21 and our son is 18. They both attended BTE when they were younger.

I am so excited to be starting the year in person again and look forward to a fabulous year.
