WELCOME TO OUR CLASSROOM!
Hello Rangers,
My name is Michelle Gomez and I am the Bilingual Academic Interventionist for grades K - 2nd. I will be starting my 27th year of teaching and I am so excited to be working with such wonderful scholars. My role as an interventionist is to provide reading support to scholars who are struggling. I meet daily with reading groups and at times will send books to read at home for practice. It is important that your scholar read 20 minutes daily. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions or concerns.
Student Expectations
Come to class on time and prepared to learn!
Be respectful.
Actively participate and ask for help when needed.
Read daily for 20 minutes or more.
Have a positive attitude and try your best.
Parent Expectations
Make sure your child comes to school each day.
Communicate with me about any concerns via email.
Make sure your child reads everyday for 20 minutes.
Help provide a productive work environment for your child.
