A Little Nugget About Me

Hello, my name is Grace J. D. Loveless, and I am very excited to be joining the 4th and 5th grade team at Bluebonnet Trail Elementary School. I have taught in other arenas, but this is my first year as an elementary school teacher, and I'm looking forward to a year of learning, fun, growing and adventure.

I was born and raised in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, and I am a third generation immigrant to the United States. Upon graduation from High School, and relocation to the United States, I attended Tarleton State University, where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Social Work. I later attended Texas State University, where I obtained my Master's degree in Social Work with an emphasis on Clinical Practice with Children and Families.

After working for several years with various Federal Government and Health and Human Services Agencies, I finally decided to pursue my real passion: "TEACHING" and went back to school and obtained my Doctorate in Education, with an emphasis on Educational Leadership and Curriculum Development.

I am also married to the world's greatest husband and father, and I am the mom to four outstanding sons, and a pet Shih Tzu dog named Knuckles.

There is so much I am looking forward to in the 2020-2021 school year. I'M SO EXCITED TO BE A PART OF BTE!
