Jazz Band

Jazz Band meets once a week on Friday from 7:00-8:00am. Students must attend all practices since the group only meets once a week. This group currently has no audition and is open to any interested 7-8 grade band member. 

Standard instrumentation for a Jazz Band is saxophones, trombones and/or baritones, trumpets, drum set, piano guitar and bass.  Jazz band is currently open to any instrument that wants to learn jazz.

Students in Jazz Band will be learning about Jazz history, listening skills, how to solo and will be introduced to a lot of great Jazz musicians.

This group will only perform at the concert in December and again at the Spring Concert in May.
