Beginning Band

The Beginning Band is for our first year band members. Instrument selection is based on what instruments are needed at the time of registration. Students who are registered in our beginning band program will learn how to care for their instrument, understand basic music theory concepts and play the basic notes on their instrument.

Flute

Clarinet

Saxophone

Trumpet

Trombone

Baritone

Tuba

Percussion/Bells

This organization meets every day at Manhattan Junior high from 2:10-2:40pm. Transportation will be provided from MIS to MJHS by busses. Beginning Band will perform three times during the school year.
