Support - Structure
Available in all editions* of Lychee Slicer
Grid Mode
A grid is set on the build plate at a set interval between 1 and 15mm
Toggled ON or OFF per Object
ON
Supports bases will auto snap to the grid, any new supports placed will snap to to the same grid points. This will Auto parent all supports to a set number of bases.
There is no limit to how many support tips will snap to a single support base.
Adjust the Grid interval to increase or decrease the amount of support base snap points in a given area.
The lower the value, the closer the snap point proximity. A low value will greatly increase amount of support bases offing more stability at higher resin consumption.
Make Support Vertical/Straight/Pillar or Manually move the base of any support to unsnap it from the grid without disabling Grid Supports.
It's recommend to make any support shorter then 7mm Vertical.
OFF
Supports will search for ground using a path that will take the least distance traveled.
Supports will not Auto Parent and will often overlap creating walls or areas of very dense support structures.
Support Placement
Search for Ground
The maximum horizontal travel distance a support can span to find a path to ground.
If no path to ground can be found in the set distance, the support base will be placed onto the object.
Can be set between 1mm and 30mm

First Reinforcement
Only supports that are Taller then the Value specified will be inspected. If any isolated supports are discovered another full support will be generated in close proximity, bracings will then be added.
An Isolated supports is any supports that does not have another support in close enough proximity to properly braced.
Can be set between 10mm and 1000mm
Second Reinforcement
Add a Second Reinforcement to any support that was previously provided a First reinforcement. Only supports Taller then the specified Value will be given a second reinforcement to further improve the stability.
Can be set between 10mm and 1000mm
Grid Bracing Reinforcement
Add one or two bracings diagonal across the supports to reinforce their stability there are three options.
