When a pre-supported object is scaled the supports do not scale with the object.
The supports bases will remain at their original location attached to the build plate, while the support tips shift with the object.
In this situation a few steps must be followed when using the recalculate tool.
Select the Object you wish to scale
Click the Prepare tab
Select Structure
Set Snap to Grid to On
Select the Layout Tab
Enter in the Value under Scale
Recalculating a support shaft with attached mini supports may cause the mini supports to be deleted leaving a unsupported island.
Starting from the bottom of the model closest to the raft. Drag your mouse to cover the bases of all of the supports.
Be careful not to select any support bases that are not attached to the raft.
While holding Shift deselect any support shafts that have mini supports attached.
Do not select any mini supports.
Recalculate will convert any Mini Supports selected into a normal support. Depending on the placement of the mini support this could lead to print failure.
Right click on any selected support and select Recalculate Support.
Recalculate Support will redraw or recalculate every selected support starting from the support tip to the base.
Fun Fact - The redraw function is similar to manually replacing every support, only much faster.
Select the object you wish to add bracing.
Under Structure > Support Bracing Click the Preset dropdown menu to select the desire preset.
Once the preset is selected, click Add/Update Bracing
