How to Powerwash Your Device
You can power wash your device as part of troubleshooting. This will clear your all most data from the device and allow you to login with a fresh local profile. This will not delete anything in your Gmail or Google Drive.
1. Press the esc, refresh, and power keys at the same time.
2. From this screen press the CTRL and D keys at the same time.
3. Press the enter key to continue.
4. Press space key to continue.
5. Press enter to continue. After this step you may need to wait a moment while the chromebook resets the local files.
6. In the bottom-right corner, click the Let’s Go button.
7. Click the Add other WiFi network option.
8. For the SSID field enter “Chrome”. In the lower-left corner click Connect.
9. The device will attempt to connect to the Chrome network.
After you are connected, click Next to continue.
10. In the lower-right corner click Accept and continue.
11. Next you need to enroll the device. Enter your school district email and click the Next button.
Note: You will only need to enter the part of your email address before the “@” symbol.
12. Wait while the device has successfully enrolled. Then, click the Done button.
13. You will need to login again after enrolling your Chromebook.
