Being Cybersmart is your key to digital citizenship and knowing how to navigate your online learning positively. You'll discover how to make the most of your Chromebook while you're at school and how to access your learning at home through Smart Learner activities. You'll also learn how you can create a positive digital footprint that will help you to develop an online profile you can be proud of. Understanding different types of media will help you take your learning to a new level as you learn how to create films, digital imagery, film and podcasts to name a few. You'll also learn about copyright and image use.
You will be practising being Cybersmart whenever you create any digital documents in class, interact with blogs or comment online. Your teacher will help you if you have any questions.
If your CB breaks or stops working, take it to the ladies in the office so they can get it looked at for you.
All students at Bay of Islands College have their own Google Drive. Inside your Google Drive, you will find your subject folders. When making a new document, like a Google Slide or Google Doc, open the subject folder first and then create it. That way all of your work will be organised in the correct folder.
