There are three slides on this slide deck. Each slide has a sentence from the focus text being read on it. To complete this activity, tamariki write down the sentence they hear. 

First read-  the sentence is read fluently. 

Second read - each word is read individually with a pause in between.

Third read - the sentence is read fluently again

Have a think about some of the words that use the soft c. Can you represent these as images to help you to remember that they use the soft C spelling. Draw a collection of soft c words
