May 25 - Memorial Day
May 26 - Possible Snow Make up (If school is not in session, an intern does not have to report this day, but can if interested)
May 29 - Senior Day (Celebration Day for the senior class)
Students cannot receive financial compensation in any form
Students cannot work out of a home (or their home). They must go to a physical work site. NO VIRTUAL/REMOTE INTERNSHIPS ALLOWED.
Students must be academically cleared to attend their internship, passing all classes.
Provide adequate student supervision by a qualified employee (on-the-job mentor)
Provide the student with work of instructional value (not just filing papers etc)
Provide a safe and healthy work environment and appropriate health/safety training if necessary
Reply to brief weekly form that will be emailed to you directly as a check-in. At the end of the internship complete an evaluation or survey of the student’s attendance and job performance.
Immediately contact the Mamaroneck Senior Internship Coordinators (Ms. Prevost and Ms. Barnard) in case of medical emergency. Please maintain a copy of the student's emergency medical form on-site.
Immediately contact the Mamaroneck Senior Internship Coordinators (Ms. Prevost and Ms. Barnard) if there are absences or any other concerns regarding the intern’s performance.
