The Vocational Skills Center (VSC) for the Glass Industry is a nationwide institution aimed at bridging the gap between education and practice, while responding to the real needs of the labor market. Students, university students, and adult professionals can acquire the skills of the future by training in a field that is crucial for the country's economic growth. The BCU for the Glass Industry is located within the Emilia Sukertowa-Biedrawina School Complex in Malinowo (Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship), an institution with years of experience in vocational education for the glass sector.
At the VSC, we conduct educational activities for a single vocational field — the glass industry. We offer:
sectoral vocational training courses certified by the industry (current solutions, digital competences, and the green transition);
courses and workshops for school students, university students, doctoral candidates, and adults;
training programs for teachers of theoretical vocational subjects and practical vocational training;
theoretical training courses for young workers (apprentices);
vocational examinations as well as examinations confirming sectoral qualifications;
preparatory courses for obtaining new sectoral qualifications.

The HEINZ-GLAS Group, with a family tradition of glass production dating back to 1523, is today one of the market-leading manufacturers of glass flacons and jars for the perfume and cosmetics industry. The portfolio is complemented by a wide range of various containers and closures produced by the HEINZ-PLASTICS plants. The core competences of the HEINZ-GLAS Group include, in particular, its own prototyping facility, in-house mold production, as well as absolutely state-of-the-art manufacturing and finishing technologies. Thanks to a diverse range of finishing techniques (mostly performed in-house), such as frosting and sandblasting (both also applied partially), single- and multi-color lacquering (also applied as partial surface coating), metallization, lasering, pad printing and screen printing, embossing, and labeling, HEINZ-GLAS can give every product a perfect finish. The latest technology offered by HEINZ-GLAS is laser engraving.
We cooperate with institutions educating youth and young workers, and we conduct internal training for our own employees. We provide both school and university students with the opportunity to complete internships at HEINZ-GLAS. University students also have the possibility to write their theses in cooperation with our specialists. We offer career opportunities for the following educational and occupational profiles:
