What do math, kindness, and self-regulation have in common? They're ingredients to raising an awesome kid. In partnership with Sesame Workshop, Life Kit talks to parenting experts for tips and tricks to empower kids to be compassionate, embrace math without fear and cultivate self-control.
We all have feelings! When kids develop a strong emotional toolkit, they are better able to handle the ups and downs of life. Leverage these resources to help children name their feelings, understand them and develop strategies for expressing them in healthy ways. (Ages 2-8).

Along with articles about the various living-/learning-/working-at-home issues we're all facing, each edition will include a suggested family adventure (something you can do together, just for fun), nightly dinnertime questions to get the kids talking, a parenting hack or tip, and a recipe or two. We'll also offer 2-3 hours of engaging activities for kids from Camp Kinda, our acclaimed exploratory learning program.
