On how to write exams to score better in a question using additional illustrations
The purpose behind this is for the Children to have one round of practice of an actual exam setting. This will help you as a volunteer to observe and intervene where it is required.
From this context, feel free to get creative and conduct your mock exams with the children! <3
"We conducted the Mock Exam in 2 sets last year for 10th.
1. The question paper was prepared by our volunteers at a low/medium difficulty level (We wanted to boost their confidence with comparatively good marks). It was for 50 marks in 2 hours. The reference was their board-level preparatory question papers.
2. To replicate an actual board exam model setup, we gave hall tickets, and registered numbers as well to make them used to those conditions. Either our mentors or volunteers were going in as invigilators. One time we had asked our 12th students to act as invigilators. Even if some of them don't know the answers, we made them sit for the complete duration as it goes on actual boards.
3. As a fellow, mocks gave me a clear picture of how their board's results would look beforehand. We planned POA accordingly every week. I had written many mocks during my exams in 12th and I knew how impactful it is to write. So I tried implementing it here. Fortunately, it worked well.
After 2nd mock, we were confident no one would fail and expected 54 or 55% average marks. In the end, they got 61% average marks in board exams."
