Taller: El arte de las reuniones masivas: Simposio de aprendizaje experiencial y creación de redes

Lugar: Taller Comunidad La Goyco, Calle Loíza 1763, San Juan

Dirigido a: Representantes de Municipios, agencias, organizaciones privadas sin fines de lucro, productores de eventos, líderes comunitarios, comunidad de artistas, entre otros organizadores de eventos (capacidad máxima de 50 participantes).

Descripción del evento

El Arte de las reuniones masivas es un simposio itinerante que utiliza los festivales como aulas experienciales para construir la resiliencia de la comunidad y su preparación ante emergencias. Este taller invita a artistas, productores de eventos, trabajadores culturales y profesionales de emergencias a reunirse para compartir conocimientos y prácticas para mejorar la seguridad, la accesibilidad y la sostenibilidad de eventos masivos. La idea es que gestores culturales y productores de eventos adquieran conocimientos para actuar como primeros respondedores, brindando apoyo a sus comunidades ante futuros desastres o emergencias en Puerto Rico.

Esta serie de talleres gratuitos llega a Puerto Rico gracias al apoyo del Heritage Emergency National Task Force de la división de Preservación Ambiental e Histórica de FEMA, la Alianza Cultural para Emergencias de Puerto Rico, Majestic Collaborations en asociación con Performing Arts Readiness y Taller Comunidad La Goyco.

Los cuatro pilares: Seguridad, sostenibilidad, compromiso con la comunidad y accesibilidad

Hay cuatro elementos clave que, cuando se integran, conducen al éxito de las reuniones masivas y a la preparación de eventos por parte de expertos. Estos elementos constituyen el marco central del taller, y son: Seguridad, Sostenibilidad, Participación de la Comunidad y Accesibilidad. El formato del evento anima a los asistentes a turnarse como estudiantes y profesores, fomentando el aprendizaje y la creación de redes profesionales en la interesante intersección de la producción de eventos y la gestión de emergencias.
