Waiora: Supported Learning at Mairehau High School 

Waiora at Mairehau High School provides support for students with additional learning needs including but not limited to: neurodiveristy, physical and intellectual disabilities. Students are supported with individualised education plans to ensure that all students are given the opportunity to reach their full potential. 

Waiora has a focus on inclusion, within our school and the wider community. We believe young people learn best when they feel accepted, when they have positive relationships with their peers, teachers, and other adults, and when they are able to participate in all aspects of school life.
