Overview of Career Services at Maine East High School

Career development is a life-long process of exploration of the self and the world of work. District 207, Maine East Student Services, and Maine East CRC offer comprehensive curriculum and services that allow students to begin exploring and planning careers in each of their four years in high school.

District 207, Maine East Student Services, and the CRC offer a variety of in-building curriculum, programming, and events in order to prepare students for college including:

    • Computer-assisted career exploration and planning through Career Cruising
    • Comprehensive classroom curriculum
    • Individual career counseling
    • Experiential opportunities (Job Shadowing, Internships)
    • Options Fair
    • College and military rep visits to the CRC
