Sleep & Time Management
Sleep and time management go hand in hand. Time management for adolescence allows them to develop better decision-making skills, improve academic performance, and decrease overall stress. Teens who tend to struggle with time management experience low motivation, lack of time, or lack of sleep. According to the CDC, about 7 out of 10 high school students do not get enough sleep on school nights. Children and adolescents who do not get enough sleep have a higher risk of obesity, diabetes, injuries, poor mental health, and problems with attention and behavior (CDC, 2020). Below are some additional information on sleep and time management among teens.
