Monday 3/4 (1/2 period): Discuss the last 3 of the 4 RHR for magnetism (Force on a current-carrying wire in an external magnetic field, Magnetic field produced by a current carrying wire, and magnetic field in side of a solenoid)

Monday 3/11: Introduce the Biot & Savart Law, Do an example of this Law, Introduce Ampere's Law, Start practice for the application of this law to determine the magnetic field for a symmetric current distribution (Very similar to Gauss'Law and its application for the determination of electric fields)

Tuesday 3/12 (1/2 period): Continue with Ampere's Law, Derive the Equation for the Magnetic Field inside a solenoid, Intro Lab, Start Lab
Wednesday 3/13: Continue with Lab on Magnetic Fields due to a current in a wire & a solenoid
HW: Start working on WebAssign N1
Thursday 3/14 (1/2 period): Finish Lab (this will be the last day with class time for this lab--Please take a good look at the measurements for the magnetic field inside of a solenoid.), More work with Ampere's Law
