"This scholarship will help remove some of the debt I will be burdened with after graduation. It will allow me to focus more on my academic and professional goals rather than financial stress. Additionally, it will give me greater flexibility to pursue opportunities that support my long-term career development. "

Major:
Operations and Supply Chain Management
"Receiving this scholarship has made a meaningful difference in my journey as a Business Management student with a focus in Operations and Supply Chain Management. Financially, it has lifted a significant burden, allowing me to dedicate more time and energy to my studies rather than balancing excessive work hours. Beyond the practical relief, it also serves as a powerful affirmation of the hard work and commitment I have invested in my education — and that recognition motivates me to keep pushing forward.
Looking ahead, I am passionate about building a career in logistics and supply chain management, with aspirations to work for a major organization operating on a global scale. The rapidly evolving nature of international trade and global supply chains excites me, and I am eager to contribute to that field in a meaningful way. This scholarship brings me one step closer to those goals by giving me the freedom to fully engage with my coursework, pursue opportunities outside the classroom, and prepare myself to make an impact in a field that truly drives the world economy. "
After graduation, Arnaldo plans to keep growing in operations and supply chain management — working my way into leadership roles where he can actually make a difference in how organizations run. He wants to be in a position where he is solving real problems: improving processes, building stronger teams, and helping companies build systems that hold up over time.
What excites him most is the chance to bring together the hands-on experience I've built in industry with the strategic thinking I've developed through my degree. He doesn't want to just manage — he wants to lead with purpose and help organizations operate at their best.
Long term, he has a bigger vision. He wants to use what he has learned to bridge supply chain and industrial opportunities between the United States and Angola — the country he is from and the place he hopes to help build. For him, this isn't just a business goal; it's personal. He wants to create something that genuinely contributes to the development of his country and creates opportunities for his people.

After graduation, Eleanor plans to pursue a career in either marketing or the insurance industry, ideally in a role that connects both areas. With her major in marketing and minor in risk management and insurance, she is interested in opportunities where she can apply communication, analytical, and strategic skills in a business environment.
