Slides

1. Open up Slides and start a new presentation. (File>New>Presentation)
2. Make a vertical worksheet, if necessary. (File>Page Setup>Custom>Enter “8.5 x 11 inches”)
3. Clear empty text boxes by selecting and deleting them.
4. If you just want to use the PDF of a worksheet with no additions, skip to step 9.
5. To make additions, such as instructions or a word bank, insert the image you want to be in the background. (Insert>Image)
6. Enlarge the stationary image as big as you want it by clicking and dragging the blue corner square.
7. Insert text boxes for instructions and other immovable text you don’t want students to alter. (Insert>Text box)
8. Save the slide to use as your background. (File>Download> PNG image)
9. Change the background of your blank slide. (Slide>Change background>Choose image>select saved background image/slide)
10. Insert text boxes where you would like students to type, as well as images or text you would like them to drag and drop.
