Summer Sports Information

Kanawha County Schools has established a three week window for summer sports from July 6-25, 2020. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and state and local guidance, this window may be altered, shortened, or canceled based upon current conditions. Students who participate in summer programs must bring a copy of proof of insurance to the first meeting. Students who do not have proof of insurance will not be permitted to participate. The following documents will be required by the coach on the first day of "in person" workouts in July, along with a copy of the virtual conditioning plan provided by the coach in June. All three documents should be completed and signed by athletes and their parent(s). Athletes will also be required to bring a face covering, labeled water container, and a printed copy of a current insurance card. It is highly recommended to have your physical exam for the year prior to any conditioning.
