Understanding Graduate School
Graduate School is an advanced education following a bachelor's degree that focus more deeply into a specific area of study. A graduate program will prepare you for a future career that is more demanding and takes specialized training to acquire. These programs require more self-direction, critical thinking, and intensive reading and writing. The classes in these programs are typically smaller and more interactive with faculty advisors. Students are expected to manage their time and engage deeply into their field of study through the courses, research, or training. There are many different pathways in graduate school and below will show some of the universities and what they have to offer for higher education.
