In the Spring of 2022, I found myself at Chonnam National University in South Korea, where I had some of the most valuable experiences. I returned much more confident, independent, and socially aware. Upon my return, I established this scholarship opportunity to support another Southeast Asian student studying abroad. Ultimately, my goal is to contribute to increasing the number of Southeast Asian students abroad. I hope to continue empowering Southeast Asian minority students to pursue an educational experience abroad.

My role as a Miss Hmong has enabled me to establish a platform which I have utilized to raise funds and support other Hmong students in their pursuit of higher education. My goal is to continue seeking opportunities to establish scholarships because I believe in using my voice to advocate for others. I value higher education because it is one instrumental pathway to attaining a quality career.Â
