My Miss Hmong Establishment strives to empower and give back to the Hmong community through the creation of educational opportunities and scholarships. It is also my mission to spark Hmong youths' "inner Miss Hmong," and inspire activism. I envision a community where all individuals are proud of their Hmong roots, passionate about community engagement, and dedicated to helping make the changes they wish to see.
"I deserve to be Miss Hmong California 2023 because I have the leadership qualities, the courage to take initiative and to ask questions, and stand up for what I believe to be is right, and I have the heart to give back to my community, just as any Miss Hmong should, just as any of us should." - Kalue Yang
