Hi, everyone! I am a second year student attending Fresno State where I am majoring in Public Health with a minor in Asian American Studies. I am also a second generation Hmong American - a proud daughter to Hmong refugees. At Fresno State under the Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institute (AANAPISI) I am in the position of Community Leader. It is because of AANAPISI Destiny and I were able to build this website. I hope to build upon this website and continue to raise awareness of mental health issues within the AAPI community and destigmatize mental health taboos!
Hi everyone, I am currently a student attending California State, Fresno. This is my second year and I am majoring in Psychology with a minor of Criminology. Here at Fresno State, I am a community leader under the American Native American Pacific islander Serving Institute (AANAPISI) program and a peer mentee in the AANAPISI. Additionally, I am a 1st generation Hmong daughter. I hope to raise awareness about mental health and be the voice for all the 1st generation Hmong individuals and those who don't feel acknowledge.
Special thank you to Kathy Moua for helping us fund this project and support our ideas. We had the visions and you helped us flourish it into this amazing website. We have much more plan for this and hope to see this website expand even more with you on our side.
We want to thank our community for supporting us as well. Your small action of filling out the community feedback survey, helping us expand our ideas, and even critizing it. You guys all together helped us create a massive tool which will continue to heal future generations ahead. Thank you for believing in us.
Here are a few BIG thank you's to our community. (If you would like to be mention please fill out the form here!)
