Fayette County Schools is looking for curriculum resources that will accelerate our students’ knowledge of Health and Physical Education topics to prepare students to lead healthy, physically active lives while engaging them in the use of 21st Century technology. Curriculum materials/textbooks need to be fully aligned to the Physical Education Georgia Standards of Excellence, Health Education Georgia Performance Standards, and applicable state laws (i.e. Senate Bill 401, Georgia State Board Rule 160-4-2-.12, etc.).
Our plan is to go through a thorough textbook adoption during the 2019-2020 academic year, for implementation during the 2020-2021 academic year.

Please complete the vendor survey before October 31, 2019, 4:00 PM. if your company would like to be considered as a vendor for Fayette's Health & Physical Education Adoption. The Health and PE Materials Adoption Committee will review all vendor responses in November and we will be in touch with instructions for advancing at that time.

FCBOE adheres to a CLOSED Textbook Adoption System. Please do NOT contact or send sample materials to teachers or schools during the Textbook Adoption Period. All questions and sample materials must go through the K-12 Health & Physical Education Coordinator and Counseling and Career Development Coordinator.
