Historic Beverly is a nonprofit organization in the city of Beverly. What used to be the Beverly Historical Society, they are dedicated to the rich history this place has to offer. Being a nonprofit, they rely completely on donations and the support of those who use their resources and materials to continue what they do. They currently have 8 employees and are also helped by over 10 volunteers.
This project is a deep dive into the organization. They strive to preserve the history of the city and educate its citizens on this. I will be analyzing the process that Historic Beverly uses to do their research and put together their exhibits. Also, I will be diving into how they engage with the community, preserve the history of the city, and educate people about all things Beverly.Â
