Set up Your Category Weights (if applicable, however Online Learning recommends this as a best practice)

Create Groups (Categories)
From the assignments page, Click + Group
Enter the name of a group (e.g., Tests, Quizzes, Homework, Projects, Labs, etc.)
Drag assignments into the correct group
Weight Groups (Categories)
From assignments, click the three dots in the top right.
Select Assignment Group Weights
Check the box next to "weight final grade based on assignment groups"
Type in group percentages, then save.
