The SeaDevil Teaching Challenge invites faculty to level up their online teaching by completing short, purposeful challenges inside their active courses. Each challenge highlights a core element of quality online instruction such as presence, connection, accessibility, assessment design, or feedback.
Faculty choose which challenges to accept, complete the task directly in one of their current courses, and submit a quick confirmation. Every successful challenge earns points that build toward SeaDevil swag at the end of the semester.
The challenge is flexible, fun, and designed to help online classes feel more intentional and student centered. Think of it as professional development that doubles as a game.
You teach. You try new things. You earn prizes. Not a bad day at the office.
