Organizational behavior (OB) is the study of individual and group behavior in organizational settings. OB focuses on the individual; the group or team, and the organization and how they function together.

Why Study Organizational Behavior?

In our competitive, complex, and constantly changing world, organizations must be both efficient and effective in what they do. Management must understand people and how they behave in order to improve employee satisfaction and work performance to meet goals and objectives. This course will discuss and examine concepts and principles of human relations in organizations, including application of motivational theory, group dynamics, managing change, leadership styles, training, and organizational development.
