How to Download the Canvas App on a Smartphone

Scan for video instructions to download Canvas:

Go to your app store or Google Play on your phone.
Type “Canvas Student” to search for the app.

3. Download the Canvas Student app

Open the Canvas app. Tap Find my school

Enter City College of San Francisco

Enter your Username (student ID #) and password to log in

How to Take Classes Using Canvas on a Smartphone

Open the Canvas app and tap a class to start

The course menu has 4 important buttons.
- 1. Home: Information about the class and your teacher.
  2. Modules: Find class lessons.
  3. CityZoom: Access online class meetings.
  4. Inbox: Contact your teacher

How to Attend a Class Meeting on Zoom

A Class Meeting on Zoom is like going to class in the classroom. Your teacher will tell you when your class will meet. You should have WiFi when you attend a Class Meeting on Zoom.

Click on CityZoom on the menu to get to the schedule page

2. On the schedule page, find today’s meeting and click Join
