Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:

1. Determine patterns of organization of ideas in varied short stories and essays

2. Identify implied main ideas in paragraphs and implied central points in reading articles

3. Compose relevant and adequate arguments to support a point

4. Locate and integrate solid evidence to support the arguments
