Course Information
TRST 1322: Academic Reading/Writing 1.5 is a beginning course designed to develop reading and writing skills. Credits earned can be used towards CCSF High School Diploma.
Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:
Use context clues to determine meanings of unfamiliar words.
Identify the main idea and major/minor supporting details of a single-paragraph text.
Identify common patterns of organization in paragraphs and short stories.
Write short paragraph responses to readings.
